Dr. Schneider uses a comprehensive approach of medical history, physical exams including pulse and tongue diagnosis, laboratory tests, and information concerning diet, exercise, environmental toxins, and stress in order to obtain a diagnosis and create treatment plans. She integrates Naturopathic and Classical Chinese Medicine in a holistic approach to relieve superficial symptoms while simultaneously treating underlying causes of illness.

Dr. Schneider is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist in the state of Oregon. She graduated from The National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon in 1999 with her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Schneider completed a year long post-graduate residency specializing in the European form of homeopathy called Biotherapeutic drainage.

Dr. Schneider has been the physician and healer at Native American Healing Ceremonies and has assisted patients with end-of-life care.

Dr. Schneider and her husband started The Golden Heart Center for Wellness in 2001 and sold the business in 2008. The business continues on as Elixia Wellness Group in Portland.

Dr. Schneider keeps busy with her two young children, gardening, reading, swimming, yoga, walking, and staying healthy. She brings enthusiasm, love and light to her patients and her community.
