Your first visit with Dr. Sara Johnson will include a complete musculo-skeletal evaluation of your condition. You will then receive full treatment on your first visit. She will recommend complimentary physical therapy modalities to help you feel better faster. Dr. Johnson specializes in muscle imbalance caused by poor posture and repetitive stress syndrome. She is knowledgeable in nutritional supplements & can often identify deficiencies & make suggestions to aid in healing. This holistic approach to patient care is more comprehensive, and is also what sets her treatments apart from traditional Chiropractic care. Dr. Sara Johnson's interest in Chiropractic began when she herself suffered an injury and underwent Chiropractic treatment. Combined with her passion for helping people lead active and pain free lives, her experience as a professional athlete and patient lead her to pursue a career in the field, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College here in Portland. With this background, Dr. Johnson brings a solid foundation to treating a wide variety of injuries and educating patients on their overall health and nutrition. She is a professional cyclist, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), coach, and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, running and rock climbing. Dr. Johnson also holds a bachelors degree in Biology from Eastern Washington University. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), American Chiropractic Sports Council (ACSC), Registered Yoga Teachers Association, International Mountain biking association (IMBA), Oregon Bike Racing Association (OBRA), and holds an international Professional racing license with USA Cycling.
